Sarita was purchased and imported from the 2008 Colorado Sale.  She is a beautiful, correct, small and compact jennet.  This little girl brings to our breeding program not only small size and a gorgeous colour but also some great bloodlines that include Red Sonfire, Red Lightning, The Fireman and more.  We are patiently waiting to match her up with our Champion jack Pink Cadillac in 2010.

Toddy was also purchased in Colorado in 2008 and then imported to BC where she now calls home.  She is a lovely little girl that stands very correct and she too brings with her to our breeding program great genetics that include Red Lightning. Red Sonfire, Jennie Sam, Jack of Spades and more.  We will match her with our Champion jack PC in the spring of 2010.  All I can say is that great things are worth waiting for.

Rayanna was purchased in May, 2009 because we loved her colour, attitude and correctness.  Her pedigree goes without question.  As a yearling she will be a future project for our breeding program.  We recently showed her at the Miniature Donkey Extravaganza II in Red Deer, Alberta where she won the Jennet Champion Jackpot (futurity/maturity) Class over a large field.  Not bad for a first time show.  See Shows & Events Page to see how well she did in 2009.

"Katie" was our first purchase from MJB Livestock, Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.  She has such a sweet disposition and has been an excellent baby sitter for all of our additions.

Perfection's Pink Ice

Dam: Kiss Me Katie of Perfection

"Icy" as we like to call her, was purchased along with her mother, "Katie", from Pat Butler of MJB Livestock in Alberta.  She was Katie's first foal, so they had to come as a package.  Icy was in foal herself at the time, which produced "Pink Cadillac", our now champion herd sire.  In her own way she is a pretty jennet, but she throws excellent foals like P.C. and Pink Floyd.

We also have a few other "pet quality" jennets within our herd:  W V Jasmine, W V Spring Bean, along with our two rescue jennets, Styx and Midge.  All are lovely donkeys, with varying dispositions, creating quite an animated view in the pastures.
